We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team and work closely with our global stakeholders, product management, development, QA, and dev/ops teams.
In this position, you will capture, articulate, and drive requirements, collect, analyze, and synthesize data to underpin requirements, and translate them into detailed technology needs, formal specifications, KPIs, and technical solutions as required. You will be responsible for managing the expectations of global stakeholders on new development work and collaborating closely with Development, QA, and Project Management to ensure all requirements are understood and can be delivered effectively. - Capture, articulate, and drive requirements by working closely with business stakeholders, product management, development, QA, and dev/ops teams
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to underpin requirements and translate them into detailed technology needs, formal specifications, KPIs, and technical solutions as required
- Manage expectations of global stakeholders on new development work
- Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Project Management to ensure all requirements are understood and can be delivered effectively
- Own and maintain user stories and requirements in JIRA that will drive the development and QA teams
- Work with the wider team to plan and define sprints to deliver the prioritized requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a development/technical business analyst role
- Extensive customer-facing experience
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to deconstruct activities into manageable tasks
- Excellent communication skills with competency in collaboration
- Proficiency in writing functional requirements
- Ability to understand and apply technology to product development
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to drive and lead virtual teams to successful delivery
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects and prioritize as required
- Fluent English language skills with an upper-intermediate level
- Experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience in data modeling, data analysis, and data visualization
- Experience in software development and coding languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello or Asana
