Senior Business Analyst

Join our team as a remote Senior Business Analyst to develop full-cycle applications using agile methodologies. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to elicit requirements, define business goals and objectives, and clarify any ambiguities. You will be responsible for breaking down assigned EPICs into stories to an agreed quality threshold, documenting requirements according to the selected framework, BA approach, and Definition of Ready. Responsibilities

Elicit requirements, define business goals and objectives, and clarify any ambiguities with the product owner and elaboration team lead
Break down assigned EPICs into stories to an agreed quality threshold
Document requirements according to the selected framework, BA approach, and Definition of Ready (i.e. Use Cases, Epics, User Stories including Acceptance Criteria)
Facilitate BA activities during the Discovery phase
Collaborate with stakeholders (i.e. business representatives, SMEs, Development and QA teams etc.)
Support of the development team in explaining the story
Support testing teams with a knowledge transfer of the meaning of the story to enable test scripts to be written
Contribute to the success of our customer projects
Identify inconsistencies in requirements
Arrange and facilitate meetings and workshops with the stakeholders
Create wireframes and diagrams
Support solution testing/UAT

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant BA experience
Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) or classic one (e.g. Waterfall)
Ability to propose applicable software development processes and influence/enhance them
Ability to create or adapt a set of templates to be used in the project
Experience in creating different types of requirements
Experience in using multiple estimation approaches
Ability to plan Business Analysis Approach on the project and facilitate related communication
Experience in guiding elicitation activities
Experience in arranging and facilitating meetings and workshops with the stakeholders
Ability to quickly acquire new project and domain-specific information using different sources
Experience in usage requirements management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
Experience in using visual modeling notations (UML, BPMN)
Knowledge of UX/UI general concepts and the ability to take part in designing activities
Strong analytical, learning, creative, and visual thinking skills
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics
Experience with project management tools such as Trello or Asana
Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
