We are seeking a remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team and be responsible for ensuring that the product specification aligns with Product Management and that tickets are created with acceptance criteria. This exciting role requires an analytical mindset that is focused on details and steady perseverance. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be creating documentation from scratch and writing user stories, including acceptance criteria. You will need to be detail-oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task while being excellent at verbal and written communication with both internal and external customers. Additionally, you will be using your team-building and conflict resolution skills to mentor the technical team and ensure understanding of SDLC and relational database querying. Your experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks will also be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure product specification aligns with Product Management
  • Create tickets with acceptance criteria, ensuring that they are well-defined and meet the requirements
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure tickets are completed on time and to the required standard
  • Use your analytical mindset to identify and resolve issues that arise in the product development process
  • Write user stories, including acceptance criteria, to ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of the requirements
  • Mentor technical team members to ensure understanding of SDLC and relational database querying
  • Use your team-building and conflict resolution skills to resolve issues that arise within the team
  • Create and maintain project documentation in Confluence to ensure that all stakeholders have access to up-to-date information
  • Track project progress using Jira, updating tickets as necessary to reflect changes in the development process
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a technical background
  • Demonstrated experience in creating documentation from scratch and writing user stories (including acceptance criteria)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in team-building, mentorship, and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for ticket creation and project tracking
  • Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks
  • Expertise in relational databases querying and understanding of SDLC
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency (B2+) for clear and effective communication with team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Experience in a technical role such as software development or quality assurance
  • Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
