We are seeking a remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team and work on an exciting project! As a subject matter expert and consultant, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and gather, document, and manage requirements. You will also be responsible for grooming stories with the product owner and refining stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting the development team for clarifications. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be able to understand the underlying digital platform and help clients understand the best mix of technologies, design solutions, and services to maximize effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert, working closely with clients to understand their needs and gather, document, and manage requirements
- Groom stories with the product owner and refine stories, defining acceptance criteria and supporting the development team for clarifications
- Understand the underlying digital platform and help clients understand the best mix of technologies, design solutions, and services to maximize effectiveness
- Manage your own priorities and deliverables effectively and transparently, ensuring timely and high-quality work
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project success
- Lead the development of comprehensive business requirements and use cases to support project objectives
- Conduct requirements workshops and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, business rules, and process flows
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly
- Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts and other team members as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in digital projects, from the discovery phase to production
- Excellent soft skills, able to manage stakeholders of all levels
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, documenting, and management
- Experience in writing User Stories with Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin format is a plus)
- Familiarity with a range of diagramming and UI prototyping tools
- Proficient in working with JIRA and Confluence
- High-level understanding of modern technologies and their application in business
- Experience working in Scrum projects is a must
- Business development mindset
- Mastery of English (B2+ level) for clear and effective communication with clients and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Gherkin format for writing User Stories
- Experience with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum, such as Kanban or Lean
- Experience working with remote teams and clients
- Certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management
