We are looking for a remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in the project life cycle, from requirements analysis to maintenance. You will work closely with customers to gather, elicit, and analyze requirements, ensuring that they align with business objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional who can work efficiently with changing priorities and adapt to an Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers to gather, elicit, and analyze business requirements
- Prepare mapping specifications and communicate them to the team for implementation
- Estimate User Stories and tasks and manage them in JIRA and Confluence
- Ensure that requirements align with business objectives and are technically feasible
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the software meets the requirements
- Support the project throughout its lifecycle, from requirements analysis to maintenance
- Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to facilitate communication
- Coach and mentor other analysts on the team to improve their skills and performance
- Coordinate the work of analysts team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Continuously improve the Business Analysis processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Expertise in SQL for querying and analyzing data
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management
- Experience in writing User Stories to capture and communicate business requirements
- Ability to read PL/SQL code and write basic SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess business needs
- Experience in managing requirements in JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to estimate User Stories and tasks accurately
- Excellent written and spoken English for business communication (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with System Integration and User Acceptance Testing
- Certification in Business Analysis or a related field
