Our company is seeking a remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our customer projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Business Analysis Approach on the project, collaborating with stakeholders, and facilitating related communication. You'll need to be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly acquire new project and domain-specific information using different sources. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in defining business goals, needs, and objectives, breaking down assigned EPICs into stories, and documenting requirements according to selected frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Analysis Approach on the project
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business goals, needs, and objectives
- Document requirements according to selected frameworks and Definition of Ready (i.e. Use Cases, Epics, User Stories including Acceptance Criteria)
- Facilitate Business Analysis activities during Discovery phase
- Collaborate with the development team to explain the story and support testing teams with knowledge transfer of the meaning of the story to enable test scripts to be written
- Manage the scope of requirements within the project and communicate potential scope creep to stakeholders
- Arrange and facilitate meetings and workshops with the stakeholders
- Identify inconsistencies in requirements and propose solutions
- Create wireframes and diagrams using visual modeling notations (UML, BPMN)
- Support solution testing/UAT and take part in designing activities
- Create and adapt a set of templates to be used in the project
- Produce estimates and plan Business Analysis activities to meet project timelines
- Contribute to the success of our customer projects
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant Business Analyst experience with a proven track record of success
- Experience in using Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) or classic ones (e.g. Waterfall)
- Demonstrated ability to propose applicable software development processes and influence/enhance them
- Proven ability to plan Business Analysis Approach on the project and facilitate related communication
- Experience in guiding elicitation activities to define business goals, needs, and objectives
- Proven experience in managing the scope of requirements within the project (communicate to stakeholders potential scope creep and manage related risks)
- Experience in creating different types of requirements, including Use Cases, Epics, and User Stories including Acceptance Criteria
- Experience in usage requirements management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to identify inconsistencies in requirements and propose solutions
- Experience in arranging and facilitating meetings and workshops with the stakeholders
- Ability to quickly acquire new project and domain-specific information using different sources
- Experience in using visual modeling notations (UML, BPMN) to create wireframes and diagrams
- Ability to support solution testing/UAT and knowledge of UX/UI general concepts to take part in designing activities
- Strong analytical, learning, creative and visual thinking skills
- Mastery of English (B2+ level) for clear and effective communication with team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Certification from a recognized Body in Business Analysis (e.g IIBA)
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Excel)
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI concepts
