Join our remote team as a Senior Business Analyst within a global leader in software development. We are actively seeking a hands-on and experienced business analyst to collaborate closely with development peers, product leadership, and other technical staff to create innovative and impactful solutions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing full-cycle application development in full-feature Agile
- Conducting requirements elicitation, definition of business goals, needs, and objectives
- Clarifying any ambiguities with the product owner and elaboration team lead
- Breaking down the assigned EPICs into stories to an agreed quality threshold
- Documenting requirements according to selected framework, BA approach, and Definition of Ready (i.e. Use Cases, Epics, User Stories including Acceptance Criteria)
- Facilitating BA activities during the Discovery phase
- Collaborating with stakeholders such as business representatives, SMEs, Development and QA teams, etc.
- Supporting the development team in explaining the story
- Supporting testing teams with knowledge transfer of the meaning of the story to enable test scripts to be written
- Contributing to the success of customer projects
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or classic ones like Waterfall
- Ability to plan Business Analysis Approach on the project and facilitate related communication
- Experience in guiding elicitation activities
- Experience in using requirements management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to identify inconsistencies in requirements
- Experience in arranging and facilitating meetings and workshops with the stakeholders
- Ability to quickly acquire new project and domain-specific information using different sources
- Experience in using visual modeling notations such as UML and BPMN
- Knowledge of UX/UI general concepts and the ability to take part in designing activities
- Solid problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Experience in communication with various stakeholders in complex environments (multi-cultural/multi-country/geographically distributed team)
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Engineering or computer science education background
- Knowledge of relative DB concepts, ability to retrieve data from DB using SQL queries
- Business Analysis, Scrum Master or Product Owner certificates
