Join our team as a remote Senior Business Analyst and work closely with Product Management to ensure product specifications are aligned with business objectives. Our client is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions in the finance industry. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic Agile environment, collaborating closely with internal and external teams to provide impactful solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for creating product documentation from scratch and writing user stories with acceptance criteria. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure product specifications align with business objectives
  • Create and maintain product documentation from scratch
  • Write user stories with acceptance criteria that are understandable and actionable
  • Create and manage tickets in Jira with clear acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure successful implementation of product features
  • Ensure timely delivery of product features by tracking progress and identifying blockers
  • Provide technical mentorship to team members as needed
  • Contribute to the development of SDLC processes and best practices
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer journey
  • Present product updates and innovations to stakeholders and potential clients
  • Identify potential risks and provide strategies to minimize them
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical fields
  • Experience in creating documentation from scratch, including user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
  • Experience working in Agile environments with a comprehensive understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration
  • Ability to mentor technical teams and resolve conflicts
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in relational database querying
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
