Senior Big Data Engineer with Databricks

Data Software Engineering, Amazon Web Services, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Data Warehousing, Databricks, SQL

We are looking for a remote Senior Big Data Engineer with Databricks expertise to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, DSE Python, and AWS Databricks.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement solutions utilizing Data Lake
  • Build event-driven scalable and resilient systems
  • Thorough understanding of information systems, business processes, and key drivers and measures of success while choosing the proper methodologies and policies to support broad business goals
  • Contribution to disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing solution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, DSE Python, and AWS Databricks
  • Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, advanced SQL is required
  • Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, Databricks
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience with Apache Airflow
  • Expertise in building event-driven scalable and resilient systems
