Senior Big Data Engineer with Databricks

We are looking for a remote Senior Big Data Engineer with Databricks expertise to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, DSE Python, and AWS Databricks.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement solutions utilizing Data Lake
Build event-driven scalable and resilient systems
Thorough understanding of information systems, business processes, and key drivers and measures of success while choosing the proper methodologies and policies to support broad business goals
Contribution to disaster recovery planning and execution
Participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing solution

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, DSE Python, and AWS Databricks
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, advanced SQL is required
Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, Databricks
B2+ English level

Nice to have

Experience with Apache Airflow
Expertise in building event-driven scalable and resilient systems
