Senior BI Developer

We are seeking a remote Senior BI Developer with expertise in Amazon QuickSight to join our team. As a Visualization Engineer, you will have a strong understanding of AWS QuickSight and experience with Tableau and Power BI. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data visualization solutions to meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data visualization solutions to meet business needs using Amazon QuickSight, Microsoft Power BI, and Salesforce Tableau
  • Design and develop dashboards and reports using best practices in data visualization design
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into data visualization solutions
  • Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to collect and transform data for visualization purposes
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns in large data sets
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in data visualization solutions
  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analytics and Visualization
  • Expertise in Amazon QuickSight
  • Strong understanding of data visualization design principles, with the ability to create effective and visually appealing dashboards and reports
  • Familiarity with data manipulation and transformation, including data cleaning, data wrangling, and data blending
  • Experience with data modeling, data architecture, and database design concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL and other querying languages
  • Ability to work with various data sources, including structured and unstructured data
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B1 level
Nice to have
  • Experience with data governance and data quality management
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
