We are currently seeking a remote Senior BI Developer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data analytics and visualization solutions for our clients, utilizing your expertise in Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, and Integration services and gateways. You will be working on a modernization project, participating in POC and technical solution definition, assisting the Team Lead with the technical WBS and scope of work definition, and implementing the most complex part of the modernization project. Additionally, you will cover the Team Lead during his absence in team management and task distribution.
Responsibilities
- Participate in POC and technical solution definition, including preparing formal documents, diagrams, and schemas
- Assist the Team Lead with the technical WBS and scope of work definition
- Implement the most complex part of the modernization project
- Cover the Team Lead during his absence in team management and task distribution
- Design and implement data analytics and visualization solutions using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, and Integration services and gateways
- Develop, implement, and maintain data analytics and visualization solutions using Power BI
- Design and implement ETL processes for large datasets
- Manage large datasets and design data warehouses
- Communicate with clients to understand their data analytics and visualization needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analytics and Visualization, including working with Azure Data Factory
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex data analytics and visualization solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with SQL Server Integration Services
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain data analytics and visualization solutions using Power BI
- Experience in managing large datasets and designing data warehouses
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Python or R programming languages
- Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView
- Certification in data analytics or related fields
