We are seeking a remote Senior BI Developer with extensive experience in Microsoft SSRS, PostgreSQL, and Power BI Report Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex SQL scripts and paginated reports, reviewing requirements specifications, estimating, and troubleshooting. Our client is a leading global provider of financial services, and we are looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual who can work well in a team and deliver results in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex SQL scripts and paginated reports using Microsoft SSRS and Power BI Report Development
- Review requirements specifications and estimate development effort
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing reports and data visualizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure that deliverables meet requirements and are delivered on time
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Visualization with a primary focus on Microsoft SSRS and Power BI Report Development
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL
- Expertise in developing complex SQL scripts and paginated reports
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Experience in reviewing requirements specifications and estimating
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and design principles
- Proficiency in other programming languages such as Python and R
