We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BI Analyst to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project in the education and life sciences industry. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, designing and implementing data models, and developing BI solutions that provide valuable insights to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that our solutions meet high standards of functionality and usability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex data sets and design effective data models that support business requirements
- Develop BI solutions that provide valuable insights to our clients, using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that our solutions meet high standards of functionality and usability
- Design and implement ETL processes that enable effective data integration and management
- Develop and maintain documentation related to BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and BI reports
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their professional development and growth
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing the value of our BI solutions
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record in business process reengineering, user requirements gathering, and documentation techniques
- Expertise in BI Analysis and Data Warehousing, including data modeling and creation of Erwin diagrams
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with practical experience in Data Analytics and SQL specifically
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Experience working in Agile environments and coordinating teams
- Strong mathematical analysis skills, enabling you to analyze complex data sets and design effective BI solutions
- DWBI knowledge and practical skills, enabling you to design and implement effective data models
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent English B2 or higher
Nice to have
- Experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably in the commercial IT function
- Practical experience with Commercial Market Data, including SAP and IQVIA
- Experience with Agile methodologies and team coordination
