Back to SearchWe are currently seeking a Senior BI Analyst with extensive experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Mathematical Analysis, and SQL to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing business intelligence analysis and support for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, create reports and dashboards, and make recommendations for business decisions. This position requires a university degree equivalent to BS / MS level in Computer or Life Sciences and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong track record in business process reengineering, user requirements gathering and documentation techniques, workshop facilitation techniques, and change management. Practical experience with Data Analytics and SQL specifically is a must. Strong Data Modeling skills (creation of Erwin diagrams) and DWBI knowledge and practical skills are essential. Excellent verbal, written & communication skills in English are required.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, create reports and dashboards, and make recommendations for business decisions
- Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions that meet business requirements
- Create and maintain data models and data dictionaries
- Optimize and fine-tune data models and data integration processes to ensure enhanced performance and scalability
- Perform mathematical analysis to support business decisions
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong track record in business process reengineering, user requirements gathering and documentation techniques, workshop facilitation techniques, and change management
- Practical experience with Data Analytics and SQL specifically
- Strong Data Modeling skills (creation of Erwin diagrams)
- DWBI knowledge and practical skills
- Excellent verbal, written & communication skills in English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry preferably in the commercial IT function
- Experience with Commercial Market Data is a plus (SAP, IQVIA specifically)
