Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for overseeing medical, dental, vision, and life insurance programs so employees remain properly covered
- Establish and broaden connections with brokers, insurance companies, and other external vendors, driving negotiations toward positive outcomes
- Manage the renewal timeline for benefits contracts and negotiate with vendors to balance affordability against quality of coverage
- Check and compare invoices submitted by providers to make sure they're accurate and match agreed contractual terms
- Maintain a well-organized system for benefits documentation and provide support during both internal and external audit processes
- Act as the key resource employees turn to when they have questions about their coverage and eligibility
- Recognize opportunities to build local partnerships and discount programs that add extra value to the benefits package
- Build solid relationships with internal teams and external partners alike to ensure programs function without disruption
- Help introduce and explain new benefits programs and vendor agreements so employees remain well-informed
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of practical, real-world experience in People Operations, HR, or Benefits Administration
- Strong technical understanding of benefits program operations, including insurance frameworks, eligibility requirements, and compliance rules
- Solid knowledge of how to develop and implement wellness programs that support employee health and involvement
- Demonstrated success negotiating with insurers, brokers, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms
- Strong analytical abilities for reviewing, cross-checking, and reconciling invoices and related benefits paperwork
- High degree of precision and organizational skill when handling records and supporting audit-related activities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization
- Advanced English proficiency, at B2 level or higher
