We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Java expertise to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable code while identifying and addressing technical debt through refactoring and modular design
- Design complete technical solutions aligned with business goals, factoring in scalability, resilience, security, and overall quality
- Select and apply appropriate design patterns, justifying decisions and promoting best practices across the team
- Design secure and resilient system integrations (APIs), managing versioning and applying messaging patterns
- Leverage cloud components to build efficient, scalable, and distributed solutions
- Define and apply effective version control strategies, resolving complex conflicts and fostering team collaboration
- Design container-based solutions, optimize images, and manage orchestration and security
- Build and maintain robust automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, traceability, and reliable deployments
- Design efficient relational data models, optimize queries, and ensure referential integrity
- Design NoSQL solutions tailored to specific use cases, managing performance and consistency
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate functionality and reduce defects
- Support basic system monitoring, identify alerts, and respond to incidents following established protocols
- Communicate clearly in technical contexts, actively participate in meetings and reviews, and explain your work to different stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Solid experience with .NET Core
- Experience with Gradle as a build tool
- Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and enterprise service bus technologies
- Strong command of design patterns and best programming practices
- Proven experience designing secure, resilient API integrations and applying messaging patterns
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and distributed system design
- Strong version control skills (Git), including complex conflict resolution
- Experience designing and managing containerized applications, orchestration, and security
- Expertise building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Solid knowledge of testing practices (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Familiarity with basic SRE principles, including monitoring and incident response
- Working knowledge of security best practices, secrets management, and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse working styles
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Angular
- Skills in Terraform
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
- Background in microservices architecture
- Experience designing end-to-end solution architectures with an emphasis on scalability and resilience
