We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend solutions while contributing technical expertise across architecture, DevOps, data, and quality domains. The ideal candidate will bring strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Write clean and maintainable code, identify technical debt, and apply best practices such as refactoring and modularity
- Select and apply appropriate design patterns, justifying their use to promote best practices
- Design complete technical solutions aligned with business needs, considering scalability, resilience, security, and quality attributes
- Design secure and resilient system integrations, manage API versions, and apply messaging patterns
- Justify and apply cloud components to design scalable and efficient distributed solutions
- Define and apply effective version control strategies, resolving complex conflicts and promoting collaboration
- Design container-based solutions, optimize images, and manage orchestration and security
- Design and maintain robust automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, traceability, and reliable deployments
- Design efficient relational database models, optimize queries, and guarantee referential integrity
- Design NoSQL solutions based on use cases, managing performance and consistency
- Validate functionality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to reduce code errors
- Monitor systems, identify alerts, and respond to incidents following established protocols
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java, Spring Boot, and Gradle
- Experience with .NET Core and WASB frameworks
- Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, and OAuth
- Familiarity with Kafka, Git, and Swagger / OpenAPI
- Knowledge of clean code principles and reactive asynchronous services
- Expertise in API Management (APIM) and design patterns
- Understanding of solution architecture, systems integration, and cloud-based distributed solutions
- Skills in version control strategies, container-based solutions, and CI/CD pipeline design
- Background in relational and non-relational database design
- Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices
- Knowledge of basic system monitoring and incident response protocols
- Understanding of security principles and compliance with regulations such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
