We are currently looking for a remote Senior Software Engineer with experience working with Agile methodologies and Lean principles, experience with AWS and experience in Cloud environments configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines to join our team.
The client is a company that provides its customers with an automated conversational commerce suite to serve different areas such as sales, marketing and customer service.
The service will be provided mostly to Mexican Companies who do business with the client.
The work will include the creation of scalable intelligent products for over 5000 customers where innovation, problem-solving teamwork, collaboration and multi-tasking will be the core elements on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Develop secure and scalable applications
- Develop scalable micro services
- Identify and solve performance and scalability issues
- Work alongside Product Managers and UX Designers to deliver products in the most time effective way with the highest standards of security and quality
- Provide end to end integrations with customer's APIs
Requirements
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and Lean principles
- Experience with applications coded on JavaScript and on a serverless state
- Experience in Cloud environments configuring and deploying CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in development sync and async APIs, SOAP or Restful services
- Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, API-Gateway, S3
- Develop and update Lambdas in JavaScript and Node.JS
- Knowledge of NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB
- Intermediate English: B2+
- Formal degree with emphasis on computer science
Nice to have
- 5 years (or more) of experience as a Back-end Engineer
- Experience creating unit tests in Node.JS and JavaScript
