Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Join our remote team as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the migration process from one Kubernetes cluster to another and support a microservice-based application running on Kubernetes clusters. The ideal candidate will be a highly technical engineer with extensive experience in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Migrate the whole infrastructure (PROD/Non-PROD) and data to a new Kubernetes cluster without significant downtime
Maintain and improve the current infrastructure and keep it up to date
Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems
Collaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions
Provide technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
Ensure continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
Drive the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
Mentor and guide less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

Requirements

At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
Strong experience in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
Expertise in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
Hands-on experience in Linux for system administration and scripting purposes
Knowledge of Docker for containerization of applications
Experience in a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or similar
Expertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
Experience in CI/CD for building and deploying applications
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with Apache Kafka, Couchbase, Jenkins, KeyCloak, and Helm charts
Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Spinnaker
