Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Join our remote team as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the migration process from one Kubernetes cluster to another and support a microservice-based application running on Kubernetes clusters. The ideal candidate will be a highly technical engineer with extensive experience in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Migrate the whole infrastructure (PROD/Non-PROD) and data to a new Kubernetes cluster without significant downtime
- Maintain and improve the current infrastructure and keep it up to date
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems
- Collaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions
- Provide technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensure continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Drive the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
- Strong experience in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
- Expertise in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
- Hands-on experience in Linux for system administration and scripting purposes
- Knowledge of Docker for containerization of applications
- Experience in a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or similar
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
- Experience in CI/CD for building and deploying applications
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Couchbase, Jenkins, KeyCloak, and Helm charts
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Spinnaker
