Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Join our remote team as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the migration process from one Kubernetes cluster to another and support a microservice-based application running on Kubernetes clusters. The ideal candidate will be a highly technical engineer with extensive experience in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment.

Responsibilities
  • Migrate the whole infrastructure (PROD/Non-PROD) and data to a new Kubernetes cluster without significant downtime
  • Maintain and improve the current infrastructure and keep it up to date
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Provide technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
  • Ensure continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Drive the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Strong experience in Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
  • Hands-on experience in Linux for system administration and scripting purposes
  • Knowledge of Docker for containerization of applications
  • Experience in a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or similar
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
  • Experience in CI/CD for building and deploying applications
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, Couchbase, Jenkins, KeyCloak, and Helm charts
  • Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Spinnaker
