Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Crafting, innovating, and sustaining CI/CD pipelines and tools within the Azure DevOps ecosystem
  • Engaging closely with development teams to comprehend their requirements and delivering tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with architects and other technical experts to conceptualize and execute cloud-based solutions
  • Ensuring the resilience, accessibility, and scalability of systems within a production setting
  • Swiftly identifying and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipelines and systems
  • Implementing robust security measures to safeguard systems against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
  • Documenting CI/CD systems and processes to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer
  • Remaining abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Actively participating in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to colleagues
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to less seasoned team members
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with foundational products in the Azure Cloud Platform (AKS, Azure Databases, Virtual Networks, Function App, Webapp, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Solid experience with at least one automation tool, be it Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Automation
  • Familiarity with Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, or ARM for infrastructure as code
  • Expertise in containers and orchestration technologies, encompassing Kubernetes, Helm charts, and GitOps for seamless application deployment and scaling
  • Outstanding skills in Linux and Windows system administration, encompassing Bash, PowerShell (or Python)
  • Mastery of Gitlab, Docker, and Azure App Service for effective application deployment and management
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server for proficient database management and administration
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English, reaching an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Certification in Azure DevOps (AZ-400) and/or Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
