We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and take part in a project involving a cutting-edge Azure-hosted web application.
Your primary role will be to provide support for the development environment and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will also develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts and ensure the successful deployment of applications. Your expertise in PowerShell scripting and experience with Azure PaaS services will be critical in ensuring performance and cost optimization. We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced individual with excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver results on time.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the development environment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts such as ARM and Terraform templates
- Ensure successful deployment of applications using YAML or DevOps Classic Pipelines
- Optimize performance and costs of Azure-hosted web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results in a timely manner
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Hands-on experience in Azure PaaS services
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure automation
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code(IaC) like Azure ARM Template/Terraform/Biceps templates
- Experience with deploying Infrastructure and Application builds using YAML or DevOps Classic Pipelines
- Good understanding of Azure Networking, Monitoring tools, and Storage Accounts
- Experience with .NET Web Development, REST APIs, and NoSQL tools
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, with at least an Upper-Intermediate level (B2+)
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps projects
- Proficiency in GitHub (e.g., creation of repositories, branching, Pull requests, etc.)
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, and Helm
- Experience with .NET Programming language
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud
- Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and DataDog
