Become a key member of our remote team in the role of Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, contributing significantly to the fortification of our Azure cloud environments.

Engage closely with our development and infrastructure teams, ensuring the meticulous implementation of cloud security best practices throughout our Azure infrastructure. This role offers a thrilling opportunity to work with avant-garde technologies, actively shaping the security landscape of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and deploying Azure cloud security solutions using an infrastructure-as-code methodology
  • Coordinating with diverse teams, including development and infrastructure, to enforce security best practices across the Azure landscape
  • Establishing and sustaining secure, compliant cloud environments
  • Configuring monitoring and alerting mechanisms within cloud environments for the early detection of security incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Deploying access management and security controls in cloud environments, guaranteeing adherence to security standards
  • Verifying that cloud environments and applications align with security and compliance benchmarks
  • Providing guidance and assistance to other teams in adopting cloud security best practices
  • Staying current with evolving trends and technologies in cloud security
  • Conducting routine security assessments and audits on the cloud infrastructure
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of cloud security processes and protocols
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to cloud security engineering
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud security, demonstrating a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience with an infrastructure-as-code approach
  • Experience in instituting security controls for cloud environments, encompassing monitoring, alerting, and access management
  • Expertise in version control using Git and familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms
  • Solid grasp of container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift
  • Prior experience in configuring monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments
  • Sound knowledge of web infrastructure fundamentals, covering DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Proficient in English, both in written and spoken communication
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or HyperScale
