We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, partnering with development teams throughout the organization to improve products and enhance speed and quality on development and deployment. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with product teams to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability. You will also help product teams develop and deploy on a cloud-native environment, ensuring all key services are measured, monitored, and raising alerts when needed. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable software delivery
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling the deployment of scalable and reliable systems
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability
  • Automate repetitive tasks and create custom solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems, ensuring key services are measured and monitored
  • Work with product teams to develop and deploy on a cloud-native environment, ensuring all key services are measured, monitored, and raising alerts when needed
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, mentoring them on best practices and DevOps methodologies
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, demonstrating your proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and reliable systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, highlighting your expertise in deploying and managing applications on the Azure platform
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, enabling you to automate repetitive tasks and create custom solutions
  • Expertise in Jenkins and Terraform, highlighting your ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
  • Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous testing efforts
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
