We are in search of an adept Senior Azure Developer to join our remote team.
In this role, your responsibilities will revolve around the infrastructure, governance, and automation of Azure data offerings. Working closely with customer architects, you'll shape and implement the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategy using tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform. Crafting PowerShell scripts and deploying robust code to Azure will be integral to your duties. A robust grasp of Azure architecture, coupled with core IT tenets like IAM, security, networking, and CI/CD, is essential. Additionally, familiarity with modern software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customer architects to shape and execute the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategy using tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform
- Craft PowerShell scripts and deploy robust code to Azure
- Ensure adherence to Azure Management and Governance policies, encompassing Azure Policy and Azure SQL Database
- Implement software configuration management tools for consistent development practices
- Collaborate with fellow developers and cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues in both production and non-production environments
- Participate in code reviews and uphold high development standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team developers
- Clearly and concisely document technical solutions in written form
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Azure Developer
- Proficiency in Azure Management and Governance, covering Azure Policy and Azure SQL Database
- Skill in PowerShell scripting and software configuration management tools
- Expertise in Bicep and Terraform
- In-depth understanding of core IT concepts like IAM, security, networking, and CI/CD
- Familiarity with contemporary software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level)
