We're actively seeking a seasoned Senior Azure Developer to become a valuable member of our remote team.
In this role, your key responsibilities will involve overseeing the infrastructure, governance, and automation facets of Azure data offerings. Close collaboration with customer architects is paramount as you help shape and execute the strategy for infrastructure-as-code (IaC), utilizing tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform. Crafting PowerShell scripts and deploying resilient code on Azure will be central to your duties. Robust comprehension of Azure architecture, essential IT principles including IAM, security, networking, and CI/CD, as well as contemporary software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, will be critical for success.
- Collaborate with customer architects to shape and execute the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategy, employing tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform
- Craft PowerShell scripts and deploy resilient code on Azure
- Ensure compliance with Azure Management and Governance policies, encompassing Azure Policy and Azure SQL Database
- Implement software configuration management tools to maintain consistent development practices
- Work alongside other developers and cross-functional teams to diagnose and address issues in both production and non-production environments
- Engage in code reviews and uphold elevated development standards
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to fellow developers within the team
- Articulate technical solutions clearly and succinctly through written documentation
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Azure Developer
- Competence in Azure Management and Governance, covering Azure Policy and Azure SQL Database
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and familiarity with software configuration management tools
- Expertise in Bicep and Terraform
- In-depth understanding of core IT principles, including IAM, security, networking, and CI/CD
- Familiarity with contemporary software development project methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level)
