We are hiring a remote Senior AWS Engineer to join our team. Our company is seeking a skilled individual who has experience in Cloud Engineering and automation at scale. This role will require you to work alongside the AWS team to support their use and deployment of specified tooling. You will also be responsible for creating processes and support plans for Cloud Tools. You will work in an Agile environment, translating business requirements into technical requirements and tooling configuration by sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analyses.

Responsibilities
  • Create processes and support plans for Cloud Tools to allow handover of tooling to SRE teams
  • Make technical design and amendment decisions with limited supervision
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and tooling configuration by sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analyses
  • Assist with the deployment and ongoing development of Cloud Tools across all CSPs
  • Ensure relevant reporting documentation is completed and complies with internal and external standards
  • Manage upgrades and coordinate internal and third parties where required
  • Create accurate documentation and monitor system performance to effectively contribute to business and continual improvement activities
  • Support in deploying tooling across development teams
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS engineering, preferably as a platform engineer or cloud developer
  • Experience in developing using Python, GoLang or NodeJS
  • Familiarity with RBAC, Cloud IAM & Security
  • Working knowledge of Terraform
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with automation at scale
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
