We are hiring a Senior AWS Engineer to join ou remote team. This role will suit engineers who have industry experience in Cloud Engineering & Cloud software development. As a Senior AWS Engineer, you will work in and alongside the CSP teams, particularly the AWS team, to support their use and deployment of specified tooling. You will be responsible for creating processes and support plans for Cloud Tools to allow handover of tooling to SRE teams. You will translate business requirements into technical requirements and tooling configuration by sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analyses.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the deployment and ongoing development of Cloud Tools across all CSPs
- Work in and alongside the CSP teams, particularly AWS team in order to support their use and deployment of specified tooling
- Translates business requirements into technical requirements and tooling configuration by sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analyses
- Makes technical design and amendment decisions with limited supervision
- Create processes and support plans for Cloud Tools to allow handover of tooling to SRE teams
- Supports in deploying tooling across development teams
- Ensures relevant reporting documentation is completed and complies with internal and external standards
- Manages upgrades and coordinates internal and third parties where required
- Creates accurate documentation and monitors system performance to effectively contribute to business and continual improvement activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering and automation at scale
- Proficiency in Python, GoLang, or NodeJS development
- Knowledge of RBAC and Cloud IAM
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at the B2+ level
