Senior AWS DevOps
We are looking for a skilled remote Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Amazon Web Services and Cloud Engineering.
You will be responsible for providing general support and consultation about Kubernetes and Containers in AWS. Furthermore, you will join our existing DevOps and agile teams that own, develop, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Service over AWS technologies. You will work on deploying, maintaining, and improving performance over containerized applications in EKS while collaborating with development teams to build environments in EKS to support application development. Lastly, you will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues in AWS cloud-hosted environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support and consultation about Kubernetes and Containers in AWS
- Join existing DevOps and agile teams that own and maintain Infrastructure-as-Service over AWS technologies
- Deploy, maintain, and improve performance over containerized applications in EKS
- Work with development teams to build environments in EKS to support application development
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues in AWS cloud-hosted environments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in AWS and Cloud Engineering
- Extensive experience with Container orchestration systems such as AWS EKS or Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD systems
- Experience with IaC automation with Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Solid experience with Linux administration
- Shell programming experience with Bash or similar
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with GitLab and/or Amazon Elastic Container Service
- Familiarity with server-side technologies (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and Redis)
