Find me a jobWe're looking for a Senior Automation Tester (Mobile) to join our team, enhance quality assurance across iOS and Android platforms, and lead automation strategy while ensuring dependable, high-quality releases.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product, Design, and Development teams to understand requirements and build thorough test plans and test cases
- Run functional and automated tests to confirm the accuracy, completeness, and dependability of features
- Help build and improve UI automation frameworks using Espresso and XCUITest
- Assess requirements to determine what can be automated
- Embed automated tests within CI pipelines to catch issues early in development
- Create and review PRs to help achieve full regression automation coverage
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts across applications
- Identify, log, and track defects, coordinating with developers for quick fixes and retesting
- Shape test strategy and lead process improvements to boost QA outcomes across various backend teams
- Collaborate with developers to introduce earlier testing through mocking techniques
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities
- Confirm new features don't break existing functionality through regression testing
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience automating mobile app testing with tools like Monkey Talk, Selendroid, Appium, or Katalon
- Practical experience testing iOS and Android apps using both manual and automated approaches
- Familiarity with Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, End-to-End, Compatibility, GUI, Web Services, and Accessibility testing methods
- Working knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, or comparable programming languages
- Skilled in API testing with tools such as Postman or IntelliJ HTTP Client
- Comfortable using debugging tools like Charles Proxy, Splunk, Sentry, or Console
- Solid coding and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail
- Background in full software development lifecycle deployment using Agile methodologies
- Strong communication abilities and a cooperative, team-first attitude
- English language skills at B2 level or above
