We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Automation Tester (JS) to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through extensive automation testing. You will leverage your expertise in JavaScript and various testing tools to develop and maintain test automation frameworks that support our development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript
- Integrate automated tests with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems
- Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and provide detailed reports on findings
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and enhance test coverage
- Lead the creation and execution of test plans and strategies for complex software applications
- Mentor junior testers in automation practices and principles
- Continuously update and improve testing methodologies to adapt to evolving project needs
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables through efficient testing processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Automation Tester
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for test scripting
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Python and R
- Knowledge of Bash scripting
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps and ArgoCD
- Proficiency in test tools such as Helm Test, Pytest, Swagger, Selenium, and Cypress
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Understanding of Linux operating systems
- Fluent in English at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with analytics platforms like Dataiku and Spotfire
- Familiarity with cloud services and their application in testing environments
- Knowledge of performance and security testing practices
