We're looking for a Senior Automation Tester skilled in JavaScript to contribute to a project centered on building and improving a Global Trade Management platform. The role involves integrating acquired technologies to deliver strong bidirectional API connectivity and sophisticated product description algorithms. Cloud technologies and data streaming power the platform to enable scalable, intelligent trade compliance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build, run, and maintain automated test scripts for front-end and back-end components using JavaScript and related tools
- Work closely with development teams and client managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage matches the evolving project scope
- Organize and prioritize testing tasks to hit tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Investigate and resolve complex test failures, delivering detailed reports and feedback to development teams
- Join regular team meetings to align on testing efforts and exchange knowledge on automation strategies
- Help integrate and validate product description algorithms within the application
- Refine test automation frameworks and processes on an ongoing basis to boost efficiency and scalability
- Move from a Test Automation Engineer role in the near term toward a full stack role over time
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience automating tests with JavaScript frameworks, backed by a solid grasp of test automation best practices
- Proven skill in designing and maintaining complex test suites for API and UI layers within a cloud-based, distributed environment
- Ability to independently run comprehensive regression testing cycles and manage repetitive testing tasks efficiently
- Experience integrating algorithmic components into applications, with the ability to understand and validate complex business logic
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
