Responsibilities
- Author and sharpen automated scripts meant to validate how applications behave across numerous architectural layers
- Judge which segments of the application merit automation attention first and structure testing coverage according to associated risk and business weight
- Launch batches of automated tests and analyze the resulting data to spot problems before releases ship
- Coordinate with engineering colleagues and business partners to make sense of forthcoming feature demands and shape them into workable test cases
- Keep existing automated test packages current and effective as the application continues to evolve
- Get to the bottom of why tests fail, distinguishing genuine software flaws from issues rooted in the automation code itself
- Take part in developing testing strategies and structural approaches that support incoming features and platform improvements
- Engage in planning discussions geared toward projecting the time and resources testing efforts will consume
- Keep continuous integration processes running smoothly by making sure automated tests perform reliably within build pipeline sequences
- Document testing approaches, recurring obstacles, and valuable techniques to promote knowledge exchange throughout the team
Requirements
- Formal education comprising Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline
- A track record of three-plus years working hands-on in automation testing
- Well-developed, practical Java skills applied toward crafting automated testing solutions
- Established background using Java-driven tools specifically designed for Web UI automation
- Clear ability to develop automated verification processes covering both web services and API layers
- Ease navigating version control platforms to oversee and monitor source code updates
- Comprehensive familiarity with the fundamentals of designing and structuring automation test frameworks
- Hands-on background weaving BDD frameworks into Java-based testing workflows
- Sound communication capabilities together with English fluency at C1 level or beyond, enabling accurate grasp of business requirements and their conversion into agentic architecture models
