Senior Automation Tester in Python

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong Python skills and experience working with AWS to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in developing and executing automated tests.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and related libraries and frameworks
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify areas for automation
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
  • Execute and monitor automated test runs, analyze results, and report issues to development teams
  • Continuously improve test automation infrastructure, tools, and processes
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation-related code changes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in automation testing
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience with UI test automation using Selenium/Selene and/or WebDriver manager and/or API test automation using urllib3 and/or Rester and/or test frameworks such as pytest, unittest, robot framework, behave, or gauge
  • Experience working with AWS
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience with code analysis tools such as pysonar2, coverage, and pylint
  • Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as behave and pytest-bdd
  • Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
  • Proficiency in Unix systems
  • Familiarity with GIT and networking
