We are in search of an experienced Senior .NET Automation Tester to join our distributed team remotely.
As a Senior Automation Tester, your role involves crafting, formulating, and sustaining automated test scripts for both web and API applications. Your adeptness in C#, Web UI Test Automation Tools, and Test Automation Frameworks within the .NET ecosystem is pivotal for assisting the team in achieving the goal of delivering top-notch software solutions. Moreover, you will collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive testing of software applications, guaranteeing adherence to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for both web and API applications
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure thorough testing and compliance with quality standards
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
- Formulate test cases, test plans, and test reports
- Conduct manual testing when necessary
- Offer insights on project timelines and deliverables
- Participate actively in code reviews and furnish feedback on testability and automation
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automated testing
Requirements
- A minimum of 3.5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing in .NET
- Proficiency in C# programming
- Hands-on experience with Web UI Test Automation Tools
- Competence in Web Service and API Test Automation
- Familiarity with Version Control Systems like Git
- Thorough knowledge of Test Automation Framework Architecture in .NET and BDD Frameworks
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level and higher)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with WebdriverIO and Selenium
- Knowledge of RestSharp
- Experience in load and performance testing
- Understanding of security testing techniques
