Join our team as a remote Senior Automation Tester with extensive experience in automated testing of web-based applications in .NET. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile software environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in QA or software testing, particularly of web-based and mobile applications. Responsibilities
- Designing and developing automated tests for web-based applications using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality standards at every stage of development
- Ensuring reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of systems
- Maintaining and troubleshooting code in large-scale, complex environments.
- Providing technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Driving the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Actively contributing to architectural and technical discussions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automated testing of web-based applications
- Extensive experience in quality assurance or software testing in a fast-paced Agile software environment
- Expertise in .NET Framework and C# for building scalable and high-performance applications
- Experience with databases and SQL for designing and managing database schema, including procedures, triggers, and views
- Ability to write and maintain automated tests in Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with QE/Testing, Testing Tools, Azure DevOps, and Azure Pipelines for version control, integration, and deployment
- Familiarity with cross-browser testing, mobile testing, and performance testing
- Experience with Python for test automation
- Expertise in scalability testing and user acceptance testing
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and Azure Pipelines
- Experience with Performance-Scalability-Reliability (PSR) testing
- Experience with API design/development
