We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Automation Tester in .NET to become a valuable member of our remote team.
As a Senior Automation Tester, your role involves crafting, formulating, and sustaining automated test scripts tailored for both web and API applications. Your adeptness with C#, Web UI Test Automation Tools, and Test Automation Frameworks in .NET holds significant importance in contributing to the team's goal of delivering top-notch software solutions. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the development team to ensure thorough testing, adhering to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Collaborate with the development team to verify that all software applications undergo testing and meet the necessary quality standards
- Identify, scrutinize, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
- Develop test cases, test plans, and test reports
- Execute manual testing when necessary
- Contribute insights on project timelines and deliverables
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the automated testing domain
Requirements
- A minimum of 3.5 years of automated testing experience in .NET
- Proficiency in C# programming
- Hands-on experience with Web UI Test Automation Tools
- Competence in Web Service and API Test Automation
- Familiarity with Version Control Systems like Git
- Robust knowledge of Test Automation Framework Architecture in .NET and BDD Frameworks
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level and higher)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with WebdriverIO and Selenium
- Knowledge of RestSharp
- Expertise in load and performance testing
- Understanding of security testing
