We are seeking a seasoned Senior Automation Tester specializing in .NET to join our remote team.
In this role, your primary responsibility will involve conceptualizing and implementing automated tests to enhance the overall quality of our software products. Working in tandem with the development team and fellow QA professionals, your focus will be on pinpointing areas suitable for automation and crafting automated tests to uphold the product's uncompromising standards of excellence. Your contribution is pivotal in ensuring our software products are devoid of defects, and meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests for web applications utilizing .NET technologies and tools
- Collaborate with the development team and QA professionals to identify automation-worthy areas and devise tests ensuring top-tier product quality
- Participate in crafting and evolving the test automation framework
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and pinpoint defects
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and promptly resolve issues
- Compose and sustain test documentation, encompassing test plans, cases, and reports
- Engage in code reviews, offering feedback on code quality and testability
Requirements
- A minimum of 3.5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing within the .NET framework
- Strong proficiency in the C# programming language
- Expertise in web UI test automation tools within the .NET domain
- Proficiency in web service/API test automation
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and SVN
- In-depth understanding of test automation framework architecture in .NET
- Experience with BDD frameworks like SpecFlow or equivalent
- Background in working within an Agile environment
- Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written, at a B2 level
