We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester in .NET to join our remote team and help automate service and API-level tests in RestSharp as part of the dev team.
The primary focus of this role is to help our client with their transition from on-prem assets to cloud/SaaS offerings, and the initial work will involve connecting financial events between Workday, Mastermind, and PeopleSoft systems. As a senior automation tester, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases, creating test data, and analyzing results. You will also work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to identify testing gaps and implement the best testing practices for our client's applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test cases, analyze results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners to identify testing gaps and implement best testing practices for applications
- Participate in developing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality and maintainability
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automated Testing in .NET
- Experience working with Allure Framework and RestSharp
- Expertise in developing and executing automated test cases and analyzing results
- Experience in implementing best testing practices for applications
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders
- Fluent in English with at least an Upper-Intermediate level of competency
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams
