Senior Automation Tester in .NET

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester in .NET to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through automated testing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and maintain testing strategies, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the software design team to define quality assurance standards and strategies
  • Identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement in software applications
  • Develop and plan automated testing procedures for software systems
  • Analyze bug reports and pinpoint areas of concern within the application
  • Write and execute automation scripts to test software functionality
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to improve testing processes and outcomes
  • Detect quality issues and compile detailed test reports for stakeholders
  • Work closely with the design team to address and resolve application defects
  • Take ownership of learning tools, technologies, and applications required for testing tasks
  • Conduct testing in Agile (Scrum) environments and adapt to iterative development cycles
  • Actively participate in Scrum practices and contribute to team discussions for process improvement
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in automation testing
  • Advanced programming knowledge, including proficiency in automation systems, debugging automation software, and finalizing system workflows
  • Expertise in automation and API testing using tools such as Postman
  • Ability to test mobile applications and build/manage automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C# and Java
  • Experience with GitHub for code versioning and collaboration
  • Proficiency in tools like Playwright, RestSharp, and SpecFlow for automation testing
  • Strong attention to detail and experience testing modern browsers and mobile devices
  • Comprehensive understanding of application functionality, bug resolution, and testing protocols
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD workflows and project management
  • Exposure to functional testing and its integration with automation processes
