We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Automation Tester specializing in .NET to join our remote team.
As a Senior Automation Tester, your role involves crafting, designing, and sustaining automated test scripts for both web and API applications. Your expertise in C#, Web UI Test Automation Tools, and Test Automation Frameworks within .NET will play a pivotal role in supporting the team's goal of delivering top-notch software solutions. You'll also collaborate with the development team to ensure thorough testing of all software applications, meeting the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure software applications undergo comprehensive testing and meet quality standards
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
- Formulate test cases, test plans, and test reports
- Perform manual testing when necessary
- Contribute insights to project timelines and deliverables
- Participate in code reviews, offering feedback on testability and automation
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in automated testing
Requirements
- Minimum 3.5 years of experience in automated testing within .NET
- Proficiency in C# programming
- Hands-on experience with Web UI Test Automation Tools
- Competence in Web Service and API Test Automation
- Familiarity with Version Control Systems like Git
- Solid understanding of Test Automation Framework Architecture in .NET and BDD Frameworks
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in cross-functional team environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level and higher)
Nice to have
- Experience with WebdriverIO and Selenium
- Familiarity with RestSharp
- Background in load and performance testing
- Understanding of security testing
