Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test cases with Appium for Smart TV and streaming platforms
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines including Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Maintain and update test frameworks, test data and test environments
- Work with developers, QA and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Analyze test results to determine root causes and support resolution
- Support test planning, documentation and reporting activities
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases and defects
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in test automation for mobile, embedded or Smart TV platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium using JavaScript or TypeScript
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Mocha, Cucumber or Jasmine
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON and test result reporting
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git and Azure DevOps
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proficient English language skills at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level
Nice to have
- Experience with Suitest for Smart TV automation
- Background in gaming or game testing on console or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with WebDriverIO, Selenium or Playwright
- Knowledge of Device Automation Bus or similar device control frameworks
- Exposure to Azure/Kusto for test result analytics
