We are looking for a remote Senior Automation Tester with strong technical skills in JS and experience with Amazon Web Services.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in Web Service/API Test Automation.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software products through testing, test planning, and execution. You should be a great communicator and be able to work effectively with remote, multinational teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute Automated test cases
- Deliver automation test reporting and analysis to ensure traceability and visibility of testing status
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test plan completeness and accuracy
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that products meet functional, performance, and security requirements
- Define and enforce best practices for automation testing, including the use of frameworks, tools, and scripting methods
Requirements
- Must have strong technical skills in JavaScript with at least 3 years of QA experience
- Extensive experience in Web Service and API Test Automation is a must
- Good knowledge of TypeScript, NodeJS, VueJS
- Experience with CI processes and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Solid understanding of testing types and test process
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Web Services, Serverless, Localstack
- Knowledge of Contract testing (PACT/Spring Contracts, Swagger/OpenAPI specs verification)
- Familiarity with Docker Swarm (or K8S)
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines setup and update
- Knowledge of UI testing (WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress)
