We are looking for an experienced remote Senior Automation Tester in JS (AWS) to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for building highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure.

You will also contribute to making test automation results supremely reliable and trustable, enabling hands-free releases. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders from across functions to keep the Quality team in sync with all functions and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Building highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure that can scale to thousands of tests per day
  • Contributing to making test automation results supremely reliable and trustable, enabling hands-free releases
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from across functions to keep the Quality team in sync with all functions and overall business objectives
  • Guiding peers in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems to drive product quality, then identifying, planning, and executing projects to support the Quality goals
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Automated Testing in JS
  • Experience with AWS, JavaScript, Cypress
  • Familiarity with Data-driven Testing, Playwright, REST
  • Good understanding of REST APIs
  • Knowledge of request-response structures, error, and status codes
  • A solid understanding of backend tools or frameworks to test Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, blue-green or canary deployment procedures
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience in working or testing within a distributed heterogeneous microservices architecture
  • Hands-on with caches such as Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
