We are hiring a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to strengthen automated quality through well-architected frameworks and consistent engineering practices. You will automate Web UI and API coverage in JS with Playwright and BDD, collaborate on architecture choices, and mentor teammates to improve overall delivery. Responsibilities
- Create scalable automated testing frameworks that satisfy both product and engineering requirements
- Coordinate across disciplines to keep delivery timelines on track and maintain quality gates
- Add input to architectural conversations to help shape testing approach decisions
- Assess test scripts written by teammates and share constructive reviews to protect code quality
- Diagnose and fix technical blockers encountered during different stages of test development
- Guide less experienced engineers through mentoring to build their testing and automation capability
- Contribute during planning by helping refine scope and align on achievable schedules
- Stay current with emerging technologies and adopt improvements that benefit routine testing
- Maintain clear documentation of major technical choices and testing methodologies for ongoing quality management
- Align with stakeholders on goals and confirm completed work matches agreed standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of practical, relevant professional experience
- Strong JavaScript skills for developing and maintaining automated testing scripts
- Hands-on exposure to Playwright and other Web UI Test Automation Tools in JS for validating interface functionality
- Applied experience with Web Service / API Test Automation to verify service and backend stability
- Hands-on use of Version Control Systems to control and document test script changes
- Solid knowledge of Test Automation Framework Architecture for creating scalable, long-lived frameworks
- Experience integrating BDD Frameworks in JS to build behavior-oriented test cases
- Working knowledge of AI tools and concepts used to improve testing methods and results
- English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
