We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to create durable automation solutions using modern testing practices and continuous improvement. You will own automation design, collaborate with delivery teams, and cover both Playwright UI flows and web service/API checks while keeping frameworks maintainable. Responsibilities
- Implement scalable automated testing structures that serve engineering requirements and business expectations
- Partner with cross-functional delivery teams to sustain quality standards and support dependable delivery dates
- Participate in system design conversations and recommend validation priorities and automation feasibility
- Evaluate test code through peer reviews and provide actionable guidance to improve consistency and reliability
- Resolve complex automation issues by diagnosing failures and addressing root causes
- Mentor junior colleagues by sharing expertise and helping them build technical confidence
- Contribute to planning by clarifying testing deliverables, estimating effort, and supporting realistic schedules
- Monitor developments in quality engineering and incorporate useful methods into daily automation work
- Maintain clear documentation of test methods and key technical decisions for process continuity
- Work with stakeholders to align on delivery goals and ensure outcomes are measured against agreed standards
Requirements
- 3 years or more of real-world experience in automation testing, QA, or an adjacent role
- Hands-on skill in JavaScript for authoring, maintaining, and improving automated testing code
- Experience using Playwright or other JS UI automation tools to validate web interface behavior
- Knowledge of web service and API test automation to confirm backend stability and expected responses
- Competence with version control systems for managing shared test assets and tracking changes
- Deep understanding of test automation framework architecture to ensure long-term adaptability
- Background in JavaScript BDD frameworks to implement behavior-based validation scenarios
- Awareness of AI tools and concepts that can be applied to enhance quality practices
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or above, spoken and written
