We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to advance dependable releases by engineering maintainable automation and stronger test coverage. You will deliver Playwright-driven UI automation and API/web service checks, collaborate on quality targets, mentor others, and help evolve frameworks and documentation—apply now.
Responsibilities
- Build and support adaptable automated testing systems that satisfy technical requirements and organizational priorities
- Partner with delivery teams across functions to meet committed timelines and quality objectives
- Influence architecture conversations by recommending automation strategy and test coverage direction
- Provide helpful peer reviews of test scripts to strengthen coding quality and testing standards
- Investigate and resolve complex technical problems that disrupt automated testing activities end to end
- Mentor junior colleagues and offer daily technical guidance to help them develop testing expertise
- Assist with project planning by defining tasks, confirming scope, and estimating effort
- Assess new technologies and incorporate appropriate approaches into day-to-day automation testing practices
- Maintain easy-to-follow documentation for test workflows and important technical decisions
- Work closely with stakeholders to agree on success metrics and confirm deliverables meet requirements
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience of 3+ years in software testing, QA automation, or an adjacent role
- Proficiency in JavaScript to develop reliable automation scripts and keep improving them
- Hands-on experience using Playwright and other JavaScript web UI testing tools to validate client-facing behavior
- Practical understanding of API and web service test automation for ensuring backend stability
- Familiarity with version control practices for preserving an auditable change history for test code
- Solid framework-architecture knowledge to build automation solutions that are reusable, scalable, and maintainable
- Experience with JavaScript-based BDD frameworks to automate behavior-oriented validation scenarios
- Understanding of AI-driven tools and concepts that can be leveraged to increase testing effectiveness
- Fluent written and spoken English at B2 level or higher
