We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with JavaScript expertise to help advance our quality engineering practice. Responsibilities
- Design and implement extensible test automation frameworks that align with product objectives and engineering constraints
- Collaborate with product, development, and delivery teams to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets required quality levels
- Contribute a testing perspective to solution-design discussions and help shape automation approaches
- Review peer-created test scripts and provide practical recommendations that improve quality and consistency
- Investigate automation-related challenges throughout the test lifecycle and apply effective resolutions
- Support junior colleagues through mentoring, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
- Participate in project preparation by clarifying testing needs, defining scope, and assisting with effort estimates
- Research new testing technologies and introduce valuable practices into established quality workflows
- Maintain clear documentation of test processes, technical decisions, and automation standards for future reference
- Work with stakeholders to agree on acceptance criteria and validate that delivered results satisfy agreed objectives
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on experience in test automation, quality assurance, or a similar discipline
- Proficiency in JavaScript for writing, enhancing, and supporting automated test scenarios
- Experience using Playwright or comparable JavaScript-based UI automation tools to validate web application interfaces
- Understanding of API and web service test automation for assessing backend functionality and reliability
- Experience with version control tools for tracking test-code updates and managing collaborative changes
- Strong knowledge of automation framework design for creating maintainable and scalable quality solutions
- Practical experience with JavaScript BDD frameworks for implementing behavior-focused automated tests
- Familiarity with AI concepts and tools that can improve testing efficiency and outcomes
- Professional written and spoken English at B2 level or above
