We are hiring a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to improve software reliability by scaling automated coverage and quality practices across teams. You will build JavaScript automation using Playwright, automate API and web service tests, and influence architecture, reviews, and planning while using AI-driven ideas to boost effectiveness—apply today.
Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain adaptable automated testing solutions that meet both business priorities and technical needs
- Collaborate with delivery functions to ensure work is completed within planned schedules and quality targets
- Shape architecture decisions by sharing recommendations on automation strategy and test coverage
- Perform constructive code reviews of test scripts to reinforce reliable engineering and testing conventions
- Diagnose and resolve complex defects that impact automated testing across the full lifecycle
- Guide junior team members by mentoring and providing hands-on technical assistance
- Contribute to planning by outlining required work, aligning on scope, and estimating timelines
- Explore emerging technologies and adopt appropriate methods in everyday automation testing routines
- Document test processes and key technical decisions so assurance efforts remain transparent and repeatable
- Align with stakeholders on success criteria and verify delivered work matches agreed requirements
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience of 3+ years in software testing, QA automation, or a related role
- Proficiency in JavaScript for building stable automation scripts and iterating on them over time
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and other JavaScript web UI testing tools to verify client-facing features
- Practical understanding of API and web service test automation to validate backend system stability
- Familiarity with version control systems and practices to maintain traceable changes in test code
- Solid framework-architecture knowledge to create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions
- Experience with JavaScript-based BDD frameworks for automating behavior-driven validation cases
- Understanding of AI-driven tools and concepts to enhance testing effectiveness
- Fluent written and verbal English at B2 level or higher
