Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for integration and E2E scenarios using Playwright and JavaScript
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to set up robust QA and integration environments
- Implement and refine continuous integration testing processes, including build deployments and smoke tests
- Create and maintain Azure Test Plans to manage test cases and track execution
- Ensure test coverage for application components and integration points
- Utilize tools such as Postman or Insomnia for API testing and validation
- Manage version control and collaborate on test scripts using Git
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues found during testing, providing detailed reports
- Optimize testing workflows for scalability and efficiency across cloud platforms
- Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team in best practices for automation testing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software testing with expertise in JavaScript-based automation frameworks like Playwright
- Background in integration testing, component testing, and continuous integration workflows
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
- Skills in API testing using Postman or Insomnia
- Capability to design and maintain test plans within Azure Test Plan tools
- Understanding of TypeScript for writing maintainable and scalable test scripts
- Qualifications in developing automated test suites for diverse application components and APIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Background in Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
