We are looking for a skilled remote Senior Automation Tester with expertise in JavaScript and AWS to join our team.
As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be responsible for improving an existing testing framework, mentoring junior team members, and providing automation guidance to the team. You will also participate in PI planning and scrum ceremonies for the team. The ideal candidate should have experience in code review and performance testing.
Responsibilities
- Code review and improvement of an existing testing framework
- Mentoring junior team members
- Participating in Program Increment (PI) planning and scrum ceremonies
- Being a contact point for automation questions
- Supporting other teams to achieve the highest quality products
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automated testing with a focus on JS
- Strong experience with Cucumber, TypeScript, and Selenium
- Knowledge and experience with Protractor, WebdriverIO, and AWS Simple Queue Service
- Familiarity with Jest and Cypress
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based platforms (AWS)
- Experience with API Test Automation (SuperTest, Jest, or Mocha)
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and mentoring test efforts
- Knowledge of reporting and gathering statistics
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of UI Test Automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, or Cypress)
